Does anyone else...

Does anyone else check their blogs for grammar and spelling mistakes after the fact? I regularly read my most recent blog or two and correct the errors in it/them (or make it/them more reader friendly). What is particularly bothersome to me is when I have commenters (the first few) who I know have seen the mistake(s--usually plural). For instance, I have edited and changed my last blog post on bread three or four times since posting it. I even did it again this AM. I assure you that I have plenty of things that need doing besides blog revisions. Can we say, "Compulsive!" :)

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

  2. I am right there with you.. I think this syndrome is probably tied to your profession .. if you rely on written communications (emails, reports, etc.) at your job.. you probably re-read the damn thing 10 times before you go final (at least I do).. so I do the same thing.. I also think it's part of being a TYPE A person ...I know I am..

  4. I check mine before I post it because I have a bad habit of typing/ writing what i think ...which for one is scary and two sometimes it doesn't make sense!!!

  5. I think I check before, but I always find someone once I post it. I'm the queen of editing. I always wonder if someone is reading it while I decide to edit it what happens.

  6. I'm such a fast typer that I usually know I've made a mistake if I do before I've done it.. did that make sense? lmao... I do get you though. If I'm tired I sometimes don't trust my own judgement. Have a lovely weekend special lady. x

  7. Hi! I just started reading your blog, so all the mistakes are corrected! I go back and read posts from over a week, and will change them if I find an error. I hate when someone catches my post before I can read through it a few times. Yeah, I can relate.

  8. Hey, thanks for the comment. Not to get too personal (too late), but don't kidney stones hurt more when you pee? This seemed to get worse with the laxative?...so confusing...off to google. Thanks!

  10. Thanks again for more detail. That was really helpful. Hmmm, she did a urine test and since there was no blood she didn't think it was the kidney. Still getting mild cramping, but nothing like the other day. I got the bloodwork done in case it's the gallbladder, and if it doesn't get better an ultrasound for the gall bladder on Fri. I'll have to keep track just in case it comes back again! Thanks so much!!!

  12. Oh, and I forgot to say...holy cr*p! OMG...you have to go through those stones several times?!!! Isn't there a laser gun they can blast them with or something?

I told the doc today it was like childbirth without getting the cute baby at the end (of course I'm just guessing that stone wasn't too cute). Oh sister, I'm just feelin' for you!
